TARA LIGHTFOOT - CO-HOST NORTH CAROLINA
Tara Lightfoot has over ten years of stage, screen, television, and voice-over experience. A number of her on-screen projects have been shown and awarded at various festivals worldwide. In addition to acting, Tara is a sought-after international print, runway and promotional model, as well as an accomplished musician. Ms. Lightfoot joined the Adventure Chefs team because she believed it would be "fun and exciting". She was right.
NATALIE BOGWALKER - WILD FOODS EXPERT
Natalie is the Founder, director and primary instructor of Wild Abundance.
She is a wild food forager, survival skills instructor, herbalist, conference organizer, and local foods expert.
ALAN MUSKAT - MUSHROOM EXPERT
Known as the Mushroom Man to thousands of fungi fans, Alan Muskat demystifies the art of mushroom hunting in Western North Carolina. A graduate of Princeton University, he’s the author of Wild Mushrooms: A Taste of Enchantment and currently serves on the faculty of Asheville’s Appalachian School of Holistic Herbalism. He supplies nearly 400 pounds of mushrooms a year to over 30 local clients including Biltmore, The Grove Park Inn and The Richmond Hill Inn.
